About Us

In 2020, the idea for Berclet emerged during the lockdown, a time when we were constantly in front of our computers, juggling multiple tasks. We became aware of recurring audio issues, especially when trying to maintain a satisfying volume balance between watching videos, listening to podcasts, and playing video games. Although Windows’ audio mixer allows users to adjust the volume of each application independently, constantly switching between apps to manage sound levels quickly became inconvenient. That’s when the need for a more efficient and integrated solution became clear.

By summer 2020, we created the first prototypes, confirming the technical feasibility of the project. For more than two years, we worked relentlessly on product development, collaborating with an industrial designer to refine its aesthetics. We also secured the necessary funding to support development and bring the project to life.

In June 2022, a major milestone was reached with the opening of new offices in Tours, marking the beginning of a dedicated team structure around the project. Today, the product is available for purchase, and we are confident that you’re going to love using it.
